All the latest inspiration and guidance for help you plan your next family hoilday

Menorca is an incredible island with some amazing beaches and we would definitely recommend your family take advantage of them during your stay. If, however, you’re after a little more than just the beach then we’ve found some fantastic options that will keep the whole family entertained whilst you're away.

LLoc de Menorca Zoo

10 minutes from the capital Mahon, you’ll come across Lloc de Menorca Zoo. A small but great zoo for a full day out of fun. You’ll find native Menorcan animals (tortoises, birds, fish and many more) as well as some more exotic animals such as ostriches, hippos and a lemur forest. The zoo has interactive areas where your kids can touch and hold some animals as well as get involved in feeding them. A play area and small museum complete the zoo for a great day out.

Adults from 9,50 € and children from 6,50 €

Aquarock Waterpark

If you can’t bring yourself to be away from water for the day, then head over to Aquarock Waterpark in Cala’n Bosch. It’s not the biggest waterpark but you will find waterslides, a wave pool, whirlpool for mum and dad, and a splash pool for younger kids with water jets and slides. The park also has trampolines and go-karting track for older children.

Castillo Menorca

For the more adventurous families, head over to Castillo Menorca. This shopping centre has an adventure playground where you can pick up speed on the zipline, play in the sandpits and bounce on the trampolines. There is also a large swimming pool with slides and a toddler pool. If you fancy staying out of the water, you’ll also find go-karting and a games room. Oh and of course shopping

Boat Trips

If you fancy a day out on the water exploring the hidden coves and beaches, then we’d recommend taking a boat trip. There are a number of companies offering boat trips from smaller more intimate boats to larger glass bottom boats. Menorca en Barco offer smaller boat tours with up to 10 people where you can visit hard to reach coves and beaches, as well as swim in the sea. If you fancy a glass bottom boat trip, there are a number of companies such as De La Cruz and Amigos Boat Trips that you can use.
