5 of the best places to eat with your family in Majorca
It’s almost as if Majorca has been built for families. Incredible sandy beaches with its calm and shallow seas are the perfect place for your little ones. Outside of the resorts, you can find some fantastic family friendly restaurants to complete an incredible day on this island and we’ve uncovered some of the best ones across the island.
- Mesón Ca’n Pedro, Palma de Majorca
Located just to the west of Palma, Mesón Ca’n Pedro offers one of the best views from its open-air terrace. This restaurant is very popular with local families, meaning you know the food will be excellent. There is a children’s menu as well as a playground to keep them occupied whilst you enjoy the view with a nice glass of wine, or two.

2. Trens Restaurant Temàtic, Palma de Majorca
Located in the heart of Palma, Trens Restaurant Temàtic is a wonderful train themed restaurant. There is a fully functioning miniature railway that runs around the restaurant and it even brings dessert to your table. Speaking of the table and chairs, they’ve been set up to look like a train carriage for that authentic rail experience. The food is fantastic and the weekday menu is great value for money.

3. El Balcon de Maria, Santa Ponsa
Heading to Santa Ponsa, we’ve found another restaurant with an amazing view. This one isn’t at the top of a hill, but rather right on beach overlooking the sea. Grab a table just in time for sunset and you will not be disappointed. Whilst you can enjoy the tranquillity of the sea, your kids will love the indoor soft play area and trampolines. Oh and the food is great too.

5. The White Rose, Port d’Alcúdia
There’s no better place in Port d’Alcúdia to spend the evening with your family than at The White Rose Family Pub & Restaurant. The food is excellent, but that’s not the reason why you’ll keep coming back to this place night after night. The entertainment The White Rose puts on will rival any hotel resort. Colouring competitions, quizzes, cartoon characters in costume such as Mikey Mouse and Supergirl, and Karaoke will keep everyone entertained all evening.
